ALSA equalizer

Hi!
I would like to ask you, if there is an ALSA system equalizer. In the alsamixer I don't have even just bass or treble. I mean something like rteq, but this doesn't work for me

You need to get some alsa plugin for this. I don't know if anyone makes it, but the plugins wouldn't work for oss apps anyway, unless you use aoss (see wiki) instead of kernel's oss emulation.

OSS/Commercial driver does have an equalizer in its virtual mixer - but 4-bands ONLY. I just posted an introduction today. Hope it helps.

BTW the equalizer has nothing to do with bass or treble channels/speakers - it's all software and not part of the driver.
