Hmmm,.... is this weird and is it just me who is experiencing this?
Try'd to display an image, too, didn't seem to work ended up with the hack below. Not all that a good with BBCode but expected inserting an image address within the img tag would do the trick. Ended up with the hack below.
[img= Isn't this weird/bug? ]file:///home/edgy/Pictures/Screenshot%20from%202019-05-06%2011-25-35.png [/img]
This code snippet on the help page does seem to work though.

But, trying to duplicate that but insert a link to a different site will get you an error.
Had to insert a link to Imgur.
Huh, wait, his last post was the 59th, my bad.

Your post does have absolutely no relation to the thread you answered to don't hijack threads
You have to link to an internet accessible source, your own file system doesn't count.

Will not hijack any more threads, sorry that I hijacked that one and bothered you into having to do some moderation.
Mostly just confused.
This works as expected on the forums:
[img=FluxBB bbcode test]https://bbs.archlinux.org/img/test.png[/img]
It actually inserts an image into your post so replacing this link address should replace the image with the image pointed to by your link.
This, surprisingly doesn't work.

It does, however it mandates that the arch server can actually reach and read that link. The BBS will not host the image, it will simply place a link reference to it. Your file system will not be reachable by the Arch server. If you add an URL as pointed out in your other post you are actually placing a reference to /home/edgy on the bbs server which is unlikely to exist and or be readable.

Anyways, nevermind, Arch Forums look a lot better without all sorts of random images and links to videos.

If you consider this solved please mark it as such by prepending the title with [SOLVED] or similar.

Done.
Well, except the part where I happened to have created another another account before this one, we should be good.
