[Plasma] Problem with sddm-kcm

I tried to change my sddm theme but it didn't work. When I use a terminal for systemsettings5 and navigate to the module, it outputs the following:

Ovr: "/usr/share/sddm/themes/maia/theme.conf.user"
idx: 0
Save Failed
"DBus Backend error: service start org.kde.kcontrol.kcmsddm failed: The permission of the setuid helper is not correct"
"DBus Backend error: service start org.kde.kcontrol.kcmsddm failed: The permission of the setuid helper is not correct"

Not only this, sddmthemeinstaller also gives a similar error, which means i cannot install new sddm themes.
These two problems appears to be related. Any ideas on what went wrong?

Are you doing these changes via KDE's  System Settings?

# ls -l /usr/bin/pkexec
# pacman -Qkk polkit
