Hi All.
I'm running Arch on my new laptop (Dell 7390). I have an issue with the touchpad. It is in power saving mode and lags on every touches.
With powertop I can put it to "On" mode. I want to create an udev rule for this device, but I can't achieve it (I don't know how to identify the device) ![]()
My idea is create a rule like this:
SUBSYSTEM=="i2c", __SOMETHING__, ATTR{power/control}="on"How can I catch this device?
Thanks!
[nachopro@stoff ~]$ ls -l /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-7

You want to use udevadm to determine information you want. Read the manual page and pay attention to the info and monitor subcommands.
You probably want something like:
sudo udevadm info -q all /sys/class/input/mouse0See stack exchange for more information.
