[Solved] System getting stuck at "Reached Target Graphical Interface"

Needs more information, which system, which graphics card and driver, when has this started happening, can you boot into a TTY, etcetc. You might want to post an entire journal

sudo journalctl -b --no-pager

Issue started a month back.  I can login to TTY ( using ctrl + alt + F2) after login if I run command startx it gives me an error and then going back to the original screen I can see the login screen.

Thanks! Restoring the '/ ' ownership fixed the problem. Unexpected shutdown might have caused the issue.
