Added value of linux-hardened

Hi,

I recently read about CVE-2019-11815 and was wondering if using the linux-hardened kernel would have mitigated the discovered vulnerability.
Where can a novice learn more about the added value of using this version of the kernel, in addition to any setbacks it may include?

Thanks

Re: Added value of linux-hardened

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Se … _hardening should clarify what the linux-hardenend kernel does change.

You're referring to https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.c … 2019-11815 ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Yes, that's the one.
I read some of the info on the wiki, but I guess it's a bit advanced for my current level of understanding - I was hoping there was more info out there.
