Hi,
my libreoffice is currently completely broken.
When I start impress or calc I can't see any elements, but when I start a presentation the slides are there.
I also can guess where the menu might be and click to open it, but I can't see the GUI elements.
I'm not sure, but this seems to be a GTK related problem.
I'm using MATE Desktop with GTK3, everything was working perfectly fine until the last libreoffice update.
Opening any presentation with impress I get:
(soffice:5170): Gtk-WARNING **: 08:56:30.764: infinite surface size not supported You can see the screenshot here: https://imagebin.ca/v/4hNUOO9lZPcD
Note: This doesn't happen with libreoffice writer, just with impress and calc.
Maybe someone has an idea...
uname -a: Linux 5.1.2-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT x86_64 GNU/Linux
libreoffice --version : LibreOffice 6.2.3.2 20(Build:2)
gtk3 1:3.24.8-1P.S.: Currently I'm using libreoffice-fresh, but the error is the same with libreoffice-still.

Change your theme.
Moving to NC...

Funny thing, I changed to another theme, changed the icons of my old theme and activated the old theme -> everything works fine.
They somehow messed up during updates.
So changing themes might not be neccessary...funny and strange error though.
Thank you. ![]()

Hi,
since the last system update I've got the same problem again, but changing the icon set doesn't help at all.
This is a libreoffice-bug, that has been going on for years and not fixed properly!
Maybe someone has another idea...

I'd bet this is between LO, your theme and the compositor. Try the behavior in an openbox session and disclose your actual gtk theme.
