Custom multicolored XFCE panel background

Hey,
Does anyone know how to add multicolored background images to Xfce's panel?
External applets seem to mess it all up. This looks pretty ugly:

Maybe this can help:

Extract to some home file go to panel preferences >> Appearance >  Style: Background image | File: your home file.

No, I'm sorry.
These are just different image patterns, and they aren't any better than mine.

As I stated, external applets mess up the image continuity:

The background of those external applets are all black because the gradient starts from black to white. (if it were a gradient from blue to red then they would have a pure blue background there)
