Mount iOS photo folders

Hi,

mounting the iOS user app folders by following iOS manual mounting works, but I don't know how to access the photos and videos inside the DCIM/*APPLE folders.
I also asked at Arch general. If somebody knows how to do it, I'll post the solution at Arch general, too or vice versa.

Regards,
Ralf

Re: Mount iOS photo folders

Sorry I cannot answer your actual question.
For me, I use gvfs as one method to access the pictures. Some alternatives to consider:
PhotoBackup. This works with rsync. For me this is interesting becasue I can just dump (i.e. backup) my pictures onto Arch. This way I have an easy photo backup without iCloud.
Photo Transfer This is interesting because it even works with hotspot. You don't need a secondary network. You can use the network which the phone creates with hotspot. Requires Samba. I personally have not succeeded in getting it to work in Arch, but I haven't tried too hard either. It works very simply in Windows, where Samba is native ;-)
And there are many WiFi photo apps for the phone. WiFi Photo for example or File Transfer App
