For years I am working on a custom-tailored Openbox- Archlinux OS.
All that time I had also been forced to work with a Office365 web application, due to my job.
Over the years I never had any problems accessing websites, except voor Office365.
What happens:
After logging in with username and password, the Office365 portal keeps reloading and switching between my employers portal and the microsoftonline.com portal. This occurs within one or two seconds. After a minute Office365 gives up with a "Time out" notification.
Of course I tried to disable plugins and extensions (safe mode), created a new firefox profile, used private mode, cleared the cache and removed cookies concerning the portals. Unlucky to no avail.
When I use Archlinux distro's like Manjaro or Arco Linux, Office365 works out of the box, no problems.
Therefore I know it is not Archlinux or Firefox related.
But I guess I'm missing some Firefox dependencies aimed on Office365.
When I build my custom OS the only thing I do is to install firefox in combination with xorg-server, xorg-xinit,xorg-server-utils and video drivers like xf86-video-fbdev, xf86-video-vesa and mesa.
So my questions are:
1. Do you think the "reloading" problem with Office365 is caused by missing dependencies? Or is it something else?
2. If yes: Do I need to install more dependencies related to Office365?
