Hello,
Looking for a tool to merge pdf, I found an article stating pdfjam is available with Arch.
I looked in http://www.archlinux.org/packages/, the package is not found. I played with filters without results.
I just installed pdfjam with pacman... and it worked. The package exists.

pacman -Fs pdfjamOffline

Unless you've added a unofficial repository, you didn't install a package ~called~ "pdfjam", you installed a package that ~provides~ "pdfjam"; texlive-core, in fact.

Well, I'm impressed. My command was :
sudo pacman -S pdfjamAnd indeed, the log states it installed textlive-core.
So pacman is able to find the package to install when provided with an executable inside the package.
