[Solved] Text input get's underlined

I'm using arch on my desktop and my laptop and usually after using my laptop for a while
I get this weird issue, that all words that are typed get underlined until I press space:

It usually only happens to specific applications like firefox or libreoffice, in this case it happened in firefox, but libreoffice was fine.
I think that it gets triggered by a hotkey but I don't know which one it is.
It's like using an IME, but I don't have one enabled (Although I do have one installed) so I don't really know what's causing that issue. I did skim through htop to see if anything
related to IMEs was running, but didn't find anything, so I don't think that's it.

When I switched keyboard layout with setxkbmap it stopped, but I'd still like to know what's causing it,
so if anyone knows anything I'd appreciate all tips.

Edit: Well I figured out what toggles the behavior, but I haven't figured out how to disable it. If any one has the same issue
for me Pressing Shift+Space toggled it on and off.
