I have an odd problem on my hands, I have github repo where I store my dotfiles, and I keep a .xbindkeysrc file there for my mouse button configuration.
I have the same kind of mouse at work and at home, a Tesoro Shrike, but the thumb buttons (there are 2) are mirrored between the two computers I'm using them on.
So I like to have the first thumb button as double click and the second as "back", this is correct at the office, but at home its the other way around.
At the office I run Ubuntu, and at home Arch, but I don't think thats whats causing the inconsistent mouse buttons, its probably revisions of the mouse software/hardware.
I need to somehow detect which OS I'm on, preferrably in the xbindkeysrc file for simplicity, or in GNU stow which I use for symlinking the dotfiles out from the repo, so that I get the correct mapping file.
