Hi
When I try to poweroff/reboot/logout it takes a really long time (like 3-5 minutes), during which i see just a static '_' cursor (when sometimes on random powering off works fine the cursor is blinking) after which a lot of messages blink (img), and my laptop powers off.

Another weird thing is when I logout or reboot it powers off instead.
Same thing happens via GUI button and terminal (also sudo systemctl poweroff). Forcing poweroff works fine, and it immediately shuts down.
Fresh arch install with base, base-devel, plasma, sddm and some apps - nothing out of the ordinary in terms of system-related software.
I tried changing DefaultTimeoutStopSec in system.conf to something low, setting use_lvmetad = 0 and installed polkit, as suggested in related topics but no luck.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Eric

Welcome to Arch Linux.
To what "GUI Button" do you refer?
What do you mean by "Forcing power off"?
Is this a fully working system, complete with bootloader? Or are you in a chroot environment having booted from the install media?
I ask because your picture of your screen seems to indicate that the disk volumes it is trying to dismount are busy.

GUI button = "Leave" button widget / application menu button in KDE Plasma
Forcing = sudo systemctl --force --force poweroff
It's a fully working system, with grub as a bootloader (dual boot with Win10 if that makes a difference).
