NVIDIA EGLSTREAM Wayland Compositors?

I came across this article on phoronix today.

In summary, Red Hat is saying to move onto Wayland ASAP. I would have done this, but as most of you know already, NVIDIA doesn’t support GBM, so using sway or other GBM compositors is out of the question.

Most compositors are GBM, and unusable with NVIDIA proprietary drivers. I could use GNOME and KDE, but I’m very minimal, and use a tiling window manager on X11 right now (bspwm), so those bloatware DEs are out of the question.

I saw on the Arch wiki that Velox is a thing, I could give that a shot. Does anyone know any EGLSTREAM supporting Wayland compositors for NVIDIA proprietary driver users like myself? As of now, the only real solution is the “weston-eglstream” package in the AUR.

The majority of wayland compositors seems to be built with wlroots and that will never support EGLStreams. The only options for EGLStream I know of are are Gnome, KDE, weston and plugins for weston.
