Hi, I just got myself the BOSS ME-80 Guitar Effects board and I'm quite happy with it. It also provides the opportunity to download patch of different guitar sounds. Since I only use arch I installed latest wine (4.11) and adobeair through winetricks and installed the BOSS TONE STUDIO. It installs and runs fine and I can use this tool disconnected from the device. But when I plug the effects board in it asks for the midi-port and doesn't accept any of my choices even though the device is recogniced by linux.

Any musicians who have an idea how I could get this to work and transfer patches to the device?
