[SOLVED] High KDE plasmashell CPU load ~60%

Hi all,

currently, I faced with a high CPU load:

CPU%   MEM%  Command

60.5      2.4        /usr/bin/plasmashell
35.5      0.4        /usr/lib/kactivitymanagerd
12.6      2.4        /usr/bin/plasmashell
10.5      0.4        /usr/lib/kactivitymanagerd

I have the NVidia card with this drivers installed:

extra/nvidia 430.26-7
extra/nvidia-settings 430.14-1
extra/nvidia-utils 430.26-1

I have all latest system updates. Why this happens?

Check your Compositing settings. On my update to Qt 5.13 KWin had a first time start hick-up (probably during recompilation of the QML shader caches...) and disabled compositing, switching it back on fixed this for me.

If that isn't it you might want to post a

sudo journalctl -b

in [ code ] [ /code ] tags

Where this settings are?

UPD: Now it is solved, I just cleanup the /home/user/.config directory
