Gods Will be Watching segfaults with Steam

I have been trying to play Gods Will be Watching but it has been impossible besides following every instruction on the Wiki. I've tried flatkpak steam, steam-native and steam-runtime, and everyone fails with a totally non helpful error:

SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Gods Will Be Watching/run.sh: line 3: 6136 Segmentation fault (core dumped) LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ./runner

Using the solution proposed here (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/St … _1.0_setup), only change the line where the seg fault is happening, but nothing else.

I don't know how to continue troubleshooting it sad

Gamemaker used to require some old fonts, don't know if it might still be the case.  Try installing
