That bug report was made by another new archlinux user and solved in a few days.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

I wiped my entire disk and got Windows on it.
Weirdly in Windows the GPU works sometimes but fails afterwards
I’m now suspecting a hardware failure...

Nope. No luck with it.
DDUed my Intel and AMD, and then when I install the Radeon software, the screen flashes for 2-3 times. Usually when updating drivers the flicker goes off after 3-4 seconds but now I can’t. It stuck at 3-4 seconds then BSoD. The driver is installed because when it BSoD I disabled Radeon in EFI and it booted successfully. Then when I check DDU it says the Radeon driver is present.
After the BSoD (THREAD STUCK IN DEVICE DRIVER LOOP), if I boot with Radeon enabled, its just a blackscreen(black light is obviously on). So I guess my Radeon somehow dead

This does indeed sound like a hardware failure.
Could you try the R5 M230 in another system for testing ?
Specicfications & OS of the other system don't matter, as long as it works and can accomodate the r5 radeon card.

What, this is a laptop GPU
I gave up on it. I can't bear with an Intel GPU but honestly I am tired of trial and errors.
Hugely appreciate the effort u paid over those months, and sorry for wasting the time investigating an issue that ultimately turns out to be a simple hardware failure.

Here is an image of what HWINFO64 reports. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ … nknown.png
Please note that this is a report WITHOUT the Radeon driver. Windows used to auto install driver but it can't now. When I click "Update driver", Windows tries but immediately says unable to find driver. The manufacturer of the video controller is unknown in Device Manager.
