I'm running a dual-head setup. My smaller monitor works fine with its native resolution, but my larger monitor grays out when I attempt to use the native resolution. It's not a static gray - it's gray-blue, and it slowly oscillates between darker and lighter shades. Although the shade does seem to be a blend of the colors in my desktop background, I only notice the pulsing when it's like this. I can move my mouse to that screen (so it acknowledges the display is there), but I can't see the mouse while it is on that monitor.
By decreasing the resolution, I have managed to get it to work. I'm still running into some strange issues (sometimes I get a corrupted display and have to reboot X), but those may be unrelated.
The native resolution works on Windows 10, so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
Does anyone have any ideas about where I could start looking for a solution to this? I'm still digging, but I haven't really found anything yet. I have xrandr installed, and the output looks fine:

Try to suspend the compositor, a layout where the two outputs overlap, post the output of lspci and maybe try adding a modeline w/ reduced blanking: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xr … esolutions
