Hello
I just installed a brand new Archlinux on my friend's laptop
It's a Dell Inspiron N5110
Installed everything without modifying, Installed XFCE as DE
Now it's detecting another monitor/screen in the XFCE's display settings
Main laptop's monitor and another one named CRT-0
I am able to disable them from XFCE's display settings, when I disable laptop's display, The laptop's display goes off, when I disable CRT-0, nothing really happens
But it's limiting the main laptop's resolution since it's set to duplicate the screens
Both xf86-video-intel and nvidia-390xx drivers are installed
Using linux kernel, not the LTS version
How can I remove this second useless screen?
What more information are needed to provide?

So this is an optimus system? How did you configure it? (If the answer is "huh, what??" read up https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Optimus )

Yes it is, I disabled Nvidia on boot using BBSwitch, I use Nvidia-Xrun to use Nvidia, The "CRT-0" screen is available on both ![]()

Please post the xorg logs of the intel server, the nvidia server as well as complete "xrandr -q" and "xrandr --listproviders" on both servers.
Do you by any chance run xrandr --setprovideroutputsource/setprovideroffloadsink anywhere?
