(SOLVED) Nvidia drivers for Geforce GTX 1660 ti
I have searched high and low for an answer to this question, and that is what Nvidia drivers should be installed for an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 ti. The WIKI does not mention this series from what I can tell. Thank you.

For GeForce 600-900 and Quadro/Tesla/Tegra K-series cards and newer [NVE0, NV110 and NV130 family cards from around 2010-2019], install the nvidia or nvidia-lts package.

I tried that actually and immediately could not boot to my gui. I changed my bios back to discrete and It became stuck with a blinking cursor on boot.

It turns out that installing the nvidia-lts package was the ticket. It now works.
