Hi all,
I installed Arch 0.7.2 yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. However, every time I try to install a kde package (from the sourses) configure returns this error:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
I made a search on the forum and no solution seems to work for me. please help! I have already installed the newer version of qt (I use KDE).
Thank you in advance!

Is pkgconfig installed?
pacman -S pkgconfig

Yes, it is. I even tried to reinstall it, without much luck concerning my problem.

After installing qt, did you log out and logged back in? If not, do it. It will update your paths and other environnement variables.

That did not make it. I switched to gnome.
