quitting shell-fm [solved]

After seeing shell-fm in Greycloack's September screenshot, I decided I'd try it out.  It works fine, except when I quit (Q).  The program exits, but my terminal no longer echos my typing to the screen.  The typing still occurs, I just can't see it. or instance, I can type "ls" and a list of the pwd is printed.  I am using urxvt, but it also occurs in an xterm.  Has anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

The same here. Though I usually just close the window so it doesn't really bother me much...

Thanks!  Reset works great.  Shell-fm is a console player for streaming music from last.fm

If "reset" works, then Ctrl-L will probably also do and it saves you some key strokes  smile

No luck with ctrl-L, although  I do use that all the time to clear the screen.  Thanks, though.

I had the same problem with bash, but then I switched to zsh, and it doesn't happen anymore
