No autologin via SDDM

Recently i changed my DE from Gnome to KDE Plasma, because of optical reasons. So far so good, the only thing that did not work, is the autologin function.

I used this instruction https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SDDM

But with every booting i had to fulfill the password.

Any Ideas ??

Re: No autologin via SDDM

Go into System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Login Screen (SDDM) under Advanced tab. select the box that says "auto login" and select the user and session.

If this was already done, I could whip up another idea but i'd need to think for a second.

Re: No autologin via SDDM

I already know that, i also edited the sddm.conf manually. Actually it is not a big problem, but a little bit annoying.
In another forum, i posted my journalctl, and someone said my xserver crashes, but there is no idea, how to correct this..

Thanks it solved my problem.
