Kinect v1 not getting detected

Hi arch community.

When i try to plug my kinect, only the NUI motor is detected, and indeed the Camera and Audio doesn't work or even get detected. Im using a Lenovo G50-45 laptop, and i've tested my Kinect with the same adapter on one friend's machine, and it just get detected.

have you installed the libfreenect and openi libs?
With these libs you should be able to detect the device.

In the past i've used only libfreenect. It works after all, on my machine, after digging. Now, after rebooting my pc, it just doesn't work anymore.
