Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef(v 1.8.2) and mp3.so

At a guess, because you didn't pay attention to the optional dependencies required for the mp3 plugin to work. Check `pacman -Qi deadbeef` to see what those optdeps are.

If that's not the case, and you have the requisite packages installed, post the output of

lddtree /usr/lib/deadbeef/mp3.so

(install pax-utils if you don't have lddtree on your system)

Mod note: Moving to NC

Re: [SOLVED] Deadbeef(v 1.8.2) and mp3.so

lddtree /usr/lib/deadbeef/mp3.so
/usr/lib/deadbeef/mp3.so (interpreter => None)
    libmad.so.0 => None
    libc.so.6 => /usr/lib/libc.so.6
        ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 => /usr/lib/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2

Judging by their post history, you'll need to put it in code tags or they won't bother to read it. Let me try

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Code_of_conduct - bibiki, read this link in it's entirety before you bother posting again.
