[SOLVED] translate-shell error: regexp escape sequence

Recently when I run command "trans some_word" from translate-shell package I get error like this:

LC_ALL=C trans error
gawk: /dev/fd/63:177: warning: regexp escape sequence `\"' is not a known regexp operator
error
/ˈerər/

error

Maybe this are some issues with last gawk update?

Re: [SOLVED] translate-shell error: regexp escape sequence

I get the same gawk error just from running trans -h, seems like a bug.

Looking at the translate-shell bug tracker, it seems this should be fixed in 0.9.6.10, so you could use ABS to build the latest version and check whether it fixes the problem.
