Mutt's sidebar: inactive mailboxes show file paths instead of names

I'm trying to get a mutt client up and running. What I've done so far is enable the sidebar, the email preview window (or whatever it's called) and I'm also able to view the inboxes from my two email accounts, which I'm pretty happy with.

However, I think I screwed something up, but I don't know what. The problem is with the sidebar. As I mentioned, I have mutt set up in such a way that it displays the inbox, sent and junk folders for both of my email accounts and I can access the emails on my hard drive just fine. The annoying bit is when I switch from a mailbox from one account to a mailbox from the other account via the sidebar. When I do this, the inactive account's Inbox, Sent and Trash labels go away and are instead replaced with the folder's path (e.g. /home/user/.mail/etcetc). The labels come back again when the account is active again, but then the labels from the OTHER account go away.

Can any mutt gurus point me in the right direction, please?
