KDE Display config reset on start

Hi,

Recently I switched from XFCE to KDE. My display manager is SDDM.

I'm running into an issue where, every time I login, my display configuration is reset. My left-most monitor becomes my primary monitor, and a popup shows with 'how would you like to connect this monitor - duplicate, extend' etc.

When I open the display configuration tool, my 2 large monitors are overlapping, and my left-most smaller monitor wasn't showing, and only appears once I started moving my displays in the tool.
What it looked like: https://imgur.com/a/dPfkang - the x-ed out smallest monitor is hidden.

Does anyone have any idea what the cause of this issue is?

Thanks for your help

Re: KDE Display config reset on start

Update: solved it

Steps:
1. in session settings, change from 'restore previous session' to 'start with empty session'
2. logout, login, when asked to configure display, select 'extend to the right'
3. configure displays, logout, login
4. set 'start with empty session' back to 'restore previous session'

This fixed it for me!
