Do nested btrfs subvolumes need to be mounted in fstab?

Currently in the process of installing using the main install guide. One extra config I'm looking to add is implementing full disk encryption on a BTRFS partition.

The one element I'm currently not sure about is how to handle the suggested nested subvolumes. Specifically whether these need to be included in fstab.

Current (simplified) fstab for subvolumes is:

LABEL=system	/		btrfs		subvol=@
LABEL=system	/home		btrfs		subvol=@home
LABEL=system	/.snapshots	btrfs		subvol=@snapshots

If I create the following nested subvolumes during installation, do they need to be specifically mounted or will they be picked up by the @ subvolume?

# btrfs subvolume create /mnt/var/cache/pacman/pkg
# btrfs subvolume create /mnt/var/abs
# btrfs subvolume create /mnt/var/tmp
# btrfs subvolume create /mnt/srv

Reading the sysadmin guide it would seem as though they don't but wanted to check here also.
