The corresponding wiki page says:
One way to solve this is to fake the running desktop environment by setting XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE or GNOME, and then using the corresponding configuration application to set the desired icon set."
I have the
XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDEset under enlightenment16, how do I control the font size (and perhaps other settings) of the Qt5 apps? Is the
pacman -S qt5ctstill needed?*
Thanks in advance.

* If it's still needed I find that section in the wiki slightly confusing .. Is it just me or is it confusing to anyone else too?

Ps. I just realised this topic is probably a better fit in the 'applications & desktop environments' section. I don't think I can move it but if there's anyone reading this that could, please do & thanks. Scratch that, I'm a noob that can't read and the topic is right where it belongs ![]()

Corresponding means the relevant application of the desktop environments (i.e. in case of KDE you will need plasma-desktop and systemsettings in terms of packages), qt5ct is an independent configuration tool, and should be used instead of the XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP workaround. The wiki does make this clear
...One way to solve this is to fake the running desktop environment by setting XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE or GNOME, and then using the corresponding configuration application to set the desired icon set.
Another solution is provided by the qt5ct package ...
If you don't want to pull in a potential load of KDE frameworks dependencies going with qt5ct is likely preferable.
