When booting I get the message: A start job is running for eduroam with eduroam being one of my network profiles.
Here is my journal greping the netctl:

Here is my 'systemctl list-unit-files --state enabled' output.
UNIT FILE STATE
autovt@.service enabled
getty@.service enabled
lm_sensors.service enabled
remote-fs.target enabled
4 unit files listed. There is no mention of netctl (hence my situation differs from this question)
Offline
netctl@eduroam.service
netctl is trying to load that and failing.
How about
systemctl list-unit-files --state disabled
systemctl list-unit-files --state failedman journalctl
journalctl -u netctlFind out what you have, disabled it, remove it or fix it.
