Currently it is not possible to import PGP keys using Gnome Seahorse likely because there is no package called pinentry-gnome3 (it's also not in AUR), that other distributions have.
So the problem is, when selecting a PGP key to be imported, it first shows the key data, but importing fails without any error message as the box for entering the passphrase never comes up. Importing a key in console works.
Nobody else here using Seahorse?

You are jumping to conclusions too quickly here. There is no pinentry-gnome3 package because Arch doesn't split every application into hundreds of separate packages like Debian does, but you should have the pinentry-gnome3 binary unless you've messed up with dependencies

Damned, you are right, the binary pinentry-gnome3 is indeed present.
I was trying to read up why the import of PGP keys using Seahorse is not working, and pinentry came up several times in bugs for other distribution. So the binary is in place and it's nevertheless not working, in which case it may be an upstream problem.
