It's very likely that I'm being an idiot, but I cannot get pacstrap to install all of the packages in the "base" group https://www.archlinux.org/groups/x86_64/base/.
Packages such as nano and lvm2 are not being installed. I don't have a complete list of the missing packages, but I've tried this a couple of times and it's often unable to boot after install due to missing packages.
Just ran it again now on a fresh install, here's the complete output:

I've tried updating the keyring and confirmed that the time is set correctly.
Mirror issue? Or have I done something wrong? I can add things like lvm2 and nano onto the pacstrap command, which does install them. I just can't get pacstrap to install the entire base group.

The 'base' package no longer includes nano or filesystem tools.

Thanks, didn't know that had happened. Glad I'm not going insane.

It would be most helpful to see a list of packages which have to be installed instead. Still the group details of the base group (https://www.archlinux.org/groups/x86_64/base/) is visible. But for how long?

Most of the packages in the base group have already been removed. Some users posted a comparison list - see e.g. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … se_package.
