[Solved] Customise Mc function keys

I have been getting to grips with Midnight Commander, and, (after several tweaks: custom menus, hotlists .... and a bit of ingenuity,) i find it quite usable as a file browser for root.

The one thing I would really like to do is replace the Fn9 <PullDn> action with something usefull like Fn9 <HotList>

I have been looking online and can't seem to find any reference as to how this might be achieved.

Is this even possible and, if so, how?

Re: [Solved] Customise Mc function keys

Thanks, that works.

A quick note for other mouse junkies smile

Mc key-maps are overridden by subsequent entries. As a result, it is not sufficient to just change, for example, line #13 from Menu = f9  to HotList = f9, but you also need to change line #19 from HotList = ctrl-backslash to  Menu = ctrl-backslash

Thanks again
Irvine
