GNOME DE Restart causes pixelation randomly on login

Whenever the laptop is started from sleep, the DE randomly pixelates the UI elements. This might be due to NVidia but I don't know how to solve this.
And to solve this I always need to restart the Desktop server by Alt+F2 and then r.
I have attached screenshots.

Is this an Optimus system and did you configure any of the nvidia offloading/prime solutions? Which hardware?

FWIW something you can try is enabling the nvidia systemd sleep hooks they exist to help with issues like this.
