updating kernel and ATI...

Today I tried updating the system with
pacman -Su
and I can see this:

[root@pendulum ~]# pacman -Su

Targets: initscripts-0.7.2-7 kernel26-2.6.17.13-1.1 openssl-0.9.8c-1

Total Package Size: 19.8 MB

Proceed with upgrade? [Y/n]

there is no reference to the ATI driver package. Shoud I be worried?

Re: updating kernel and ATI...

As long as you are going from a 2.6.17 kernel to a 2.6.17 kernel, you should be fine.

Desktop: AMD Athlon64 3800+ Venice Core, 2GB PC3200, 2x160GB Maxtor DiamondMax 10, 2x320GB WD Caviar RE, Nvidia 6600GT 256MB

Re: updating kernel and ATI...

[root@pendulum ~]# uname -sr
Linux 2.6.17-ARCH

then I SHOULD be ok. Thanks a lot.
