I have somewhat recently made a new arch install on my laptop (An ASUS TUF Gaming FX705GM_FX705GM 1.0), and the microphone on my headset will not be recognized by the system. On my last installation this was never a problem, and it always worked through the headphone/mic combo jack. Now, however, this is not the case and I cannot get my mic to work and have had to settle for the built in one. No option for my microphone appears in either pavucontrol or alsamixer. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks ~
