[SOLVED] Stopping mkinitcpio from running?

Hey guys, I followed these instructions https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Us … el_upgrade and now when the default kernel is upgraded dracut is run and not mkinitcpio but when the linux-lts kernel is upgraded it runs dracut and then i get these messages:

(5/5) Updating linux-lts initcpios...
call to execv failed (No such file or directory)
error: command failed to execute correctly

So it is trying to run mkinitcpio, how can i stop this? I know that something in those scripts on the web page has prevented it from running for the default kernel but I don't know what it is...

Thanks.

Well if a 90-linux.hook exists, and symlinking that to /dev/null fixes this issue, by logical inference, what should exist for linux-lts as well?

FWIW that symlink  will get overwritten on the next kernel update: you  might be interested in NoUpgrade= and/or NoExtract=

I'm dumb ignore this...

/etc/pacman.d/hooks/90-linux-lts.hook is not provided by linux-lts so will not get overridden.
