[Solved] Thinkpad X1C gen 6 mysterious sensor high temp

EDIT: Issue resolved itself after an additional reboot.  Original post remains, below:

--------------

Hi all,

After an update today I notice a strange problem: When my laptop is plugged in, the fan goes to max, and running "sensors" shows "Temp 11" is at 66 C. If I unplug the laptop, "Temp 11" instantly drops to 0 C and the fans spin down. The laptop power cord is USB-C. If I plug it into the other USB-C port, "Temp 11" reads 65 instead of 66 C. Here's the sensors output:

pch_skylake-virtual-0

Now, I could edit /etc/thinkfan.conf to put an offset on that sensor or otherwise try to ignore it, but I suspect there's a better way to solve the issue. Any ideas would be much appreciated!
