[SOLVED] Avidemux doesn't export my cuts correctly

Avidemux is great for cutting video without having to do encoding, but it seems to lack the ability to set the markers to a specific frame. I can never trust this program, always have to check the exported file if it was done right. I wonder why? It's supposed to be a video cutter, how is it possible it very often doesn't actually make the cut on the frame I set the marker to?

I tried MKVtoolnix but it doesn't work with mp4 files for example.

edit; I couldn't imagine there's something wrong with the program, that maybe something was wrong with the configuration of my Arch installation. But I understand how it works now when I found Vidcutter, which has an option for "frame-accurate cutting". So the problem wasn't me, it was Avidemux.
