[SOLVED] pdfmom can't embed fonts due to its request for older ghostsc

xxx.mom | pdfmom -P-e -

outputs

Failed to open '/usr/share/ghostscript/9.26/Resource/Font/NimbusRoman-Regular'

The current ghostscript version is 9.50, not 9.26. So I've got:

/usr/share/ghostscript/9.50/Resource/Font/NimbusRoman-Regular

Is the issue still present if you rebuild groff with ghostscript 9.50-1 ?

Haven't tried that assuming it should get the correct version. Not a big issue really as I successfully use

pdfmom -Tps -Kutf-8 xxx.mom > xxx.ps && ps2pdf -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dOptimize=true -dEmbedAllFonts=true xxx.ps

but I've just wanted to report it.

And that NumbisRoman part is wrong too, as I've already set it to `.FAMILY    C`. Yet, again ps2pdf embeds the correct font.

Solved it by converting/adding fonts to groff by this install-font.sh at the end of http://www.schaffter.ca/mom/mom-06.html. Now I can embed fonts without ghostscript which I'd installed just for that. I've removed it now.

I just issue

pdfmom -Kutf-8 xxx.mom > xxx.pdf
