[SOLVED]Can I delete AUR package folder after install?

Hello everyone,

I just installed my first AUR package, i installed yay from my home directory with "makepkg -si". After installing it I checked /bin/ and the program is installed. Can I now delete the folder that I had to download to my home folder? If I do need to keep it where should I store it and if I do move it will I need to change any file?

After a package is installed the PKGBUILD and sources are not required.
However keeping them can save from having to download them again later if you need to build an updated version of the package.
You might also consider not using a package helper until you are more confident with package building.
