Hi everyone,
yesterday I upgraded my machine and it also happened to upgrade the kernel from 5.3.7 to 5.3.8
I have a setup that converts the kernel executable to an EFI executable as seen in this small AUR hook
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/syst … acman-hook
But to my surprise after some recent changes ( in pacman I guess? ) the hook stopped being executed hence I was left with an old kernel and newer userspace
After a bit of debugging it seems like the "Target" triggers don't accumulate and only the last trigger is being checked.
This is a breaking behavior change introduced recently, and some other hooks require it ( an example glib-compile-schemas.hook )

kernel packages no longer supply any files under /etc or /boot see the changes for mkinitcpio in https://git.archlinux.org/mkinitcpio.git/
