Hello, I have a fresh install of Arch with alsa and related tools installed. However, both aplay and speaker-test hang polling for input from /dev/snd/timer. The device that VBox emulates is an Intel 82801AA AC'97 controller and ALSA sees it just fine.
Can someone direct me to the appropriate resources to debug this?
