Problems with multihead

Hi everyone

I got problems with my mutlihead setup. I'm currently using Xorg + i3.
The point is: My "right" screen is working properly. On the left screen, i got extremly low FPS (around 10, I'd guess). Furthermore the left screen is flickering massivly.

I got a special hardware connection to the monitors. I hope this "graphic" is comprehensible:

MAINBOARD (DVI)                ----- (HDMI) RIGHT MONITOR
MAINBOARD (HDMI)            ----- (HDMI) HDMI-SWITCH (HDMI) ------ (HDMI) LEFT MONITOR
                                                                  |
                                                                  |
DED GPU (NVIDIA)  (HDMI) ----- |

Currently installed (and afaik relevant packages):

I do not use a special Xorg configuration, so its set to default.

Do i need to right a custom configuration for the monitors? I tried one and put it in /etc/xorg.conf - but it didn't work. (Maybe i fucked up with the syntax tho).

I'd be glad if anyone give me a hint on whats going wrong.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day smile
