Firefox scrolling sensitivity

I recently installed Firefox on KDE and per the wiki entry, I enabled pixel-perfect scrolling. This has led to an issue though, as when Firefox isn't focused and I scroll with my touchpad, the sensitivity of the touchpad scrolling seems to get much worse and I have to scroll very slowly for it to not be choppy. Any tips on how to fix this?
