Mount using deepin file manager

The goal is to mount a remote partition using sftp. Now, this works perfectly fine on a regular deepin desktop environment. But now, I am using the same file manager in the i3-gaps window manager instead. The only packages related to deepin are deepin-file-manager and deepin-terminal (and their dependencies). When I try to use sftp, the file manager gives the error saying "Mounting device error, volume doesn't implement mount". This is probably because I am missing a package which is not a dependency. Can you help me out?

Re: Mount using deepin file manager

In terms of deepin packages probably deepin-daemon, more fine grainedly what you also should ensure regardless if you start i3 with startx that you follow the proper session setup files, note the blue boxes and you probably also want udisks2 and/or gvfs started/installed which is unlikely to be autoinvoked on deepin.

Re: Mount using deepin file manager

You're right, it was deepin-daemon, and I do use xinit (startx) instead of lightdm. Many thanks. I'll try narrowing it down to the dependencies. The whole set was over 200 mb.
