Hi all,
I am running KDE Plasma on my Arch desktop which has dual monitors running from my AMD RX 470. The primary monitor uses HDMI and the secondary uses DVI.
The bug I'm experiencing only seems to occur when the monitors go in to power save. The lock screen functions as normal upon immediate lock with [Meta+L] keystroke but it seems that when the power saving preset time elapses and the monitors go off that the issues arise. When moving the mouse of pressing a key, the secondary monitor is the only one that comes back on, the HDMI monitor remains in power save mode. The second issue that makes this even worse is that all keystrokes for entering the password only seem to go to the primary monitor which is off. The mouse cursor is able to go across to the secondary monitor but even clicking the password field on that monitor doesn't allow me to enter text in to the password field there, it still enters in to the main monitor only.
Even though the primary monitor is off, the system still recognises the input (providing I hadn't accidentally pressed other keys beforehand) and unlocks upon correct password entry which then restores power to the primary monitor and functionality goes back to normal. I have had a number of times where I have had to end up blindly spamming the backspace key to make sure the password field is empty before entering my unlock password.
I initially thought is was an issue with sddm which I asked for help with in another post, but with advice from there I've narrowed it down to being an issue with kscreenlocker and nothing to do with sddm.
Any help or advice on how to fix this or debug this issue would be appreciated.
(BTW, I am up to date with 'pacman -Syu')

I have the same problem, do you have any change about this???

I have the same problem too.
The only difference is that in my case the primary display is the laptop screen and the secondary is the external monitor connected with HDMI.
Is there any way to solve?

I gave up trying to fix it and switched over to i3wm with lightdm and xscreensaver lockscreen. I no longer have this issue with this combination.
